VISTOCK

The platform for running the agro-livestock farm: plots, pasture status, herd book and GPS-tracked grazing.

A free-range herd is managed by knowing where the animals are, how they use the pasture and how the pasture itself grows. VISTOCK is the platform AgriZapp built for the agro-livestock farm: georeferenced plots, the herd book with its genealogy, and GPS collars that follow the grazing on the ground — closing the loop with a biomass growth model that shows how the pasture is responding.

What we built

Herd book — ear-tag, breed, genealogy (dam/sire) and the entry, birth, transfer and slaughter dates of every head

Georeferenced plots — cadastral polygons plus a grid of cells to hook onto weather and soil data

GPS collar on each head — devices transmitting position, locked satellites and battery status, historised in the platform

Grazing & home range — fixes on the pasture reveal real land use, comparable against the registered boundary

History & time series — every fix timestamped and stored, to reconstruct movements over entire grazing seasons

Agronomic management — soils, weather, satellite data, tillage and applications (water, fertiliser, pesticides) feeding a mechanistic biomass growth model
